Today, Davao is celebrating the Philippine-Japan friendship day. As a part of celebration, Japan has been showing some of their movies which depicts their culture.
This Japanese film festival named "Eigai Sai" which again I dont know the meaning features one of their most famous movies entitled as "Departures" that won not only national awards but also international awards such as Winner of Academy Award/Best Foreign Language Film, Winner of Grand Prix des Amerique at the 32nd Montreal World Film festival and many more. Unfortunately, I didnt see this movie because I didnt know that the venue would be in Cinema 4 at Gaisano Grand Citimall. Hahahha..
