Alma Mater

Yesterday, I visited my alma mater which is the University of the Philippines Mindanao or commonly called UPMin to get my diploma and transcript of records. My cousins used to laugh at me every time they would hear that I didnt have those things. But never today, because i have now my diploma and I will receive my transcript of records after 10days.

Furthermore, when I visited my university, I noticed some changes, Roads were now cemented and new buildings have been constructed. I will just upload more pictures because I saw my friend that is why I forgot to get pictures on it. Neverthless, what I really like in my university is the serenity of the place which gives me happiness and contentment. A kind of feeling that I cannot get living in the city.

New P20 bill

Several months ago, when I was riding in a jeepney, a passenger paid his fare to the driver. The driver immediately did not accept the money because he thought it was fake. Soon, the passengers told the driver that was the image of the P20 bill of the Philippines.

Since it was my first time to see the new P20 bill, I asked the driver if I could change my old P20 bill to the new bill. Moreover, I got the new bill and wondered why government officials made a new bill. For me, it was just a waste of money and I had been looking if there was a face of government official because some people would create ways in order for them to be recognized since they are in the working in the government.

Furthermore, when looking at the new bill, I noticed some changes. At the front of the new P20bill is a younger version of the late President Manuel Quezon, Malacanang Palace and the Declaration of Filipino as National Language last 1935. It was like all the features of the old bill was put in one side of new P20bill. Furthermore, at the back side of the new P20 bill are the pictures of Banaue Rice Terraces, Palm Civet and the Philippines map.

When I began to think the features at the back side of the new bill, my perception changed. Maybe, this is a way or means to promote our tourism sector which can help in boosting our economy.

Earth Hour

Today, the world just celebrated the so called Earth hour. This is annual event in which its goal is to combat the climate change by saving electricity. In Davao, the light should be turn off at 8:30-9:30 am.
However, I was attending a ceremony that is why I didnt practice turning off the light. But in that ceremony, there was a reduce amount of electricity which was given by the Davao Light that is why it was hot in our room.

Well, I dont know the explanation why is it the logo showed a 60 number. Hahha.. But then, I got a picture from it in SM Davao. I was very happy because in that "statue' there were notes written by the children on how to save electricity. Well, I just pray that those words will be put into action.

Things

It has been a long time since I write an article on this blog. The topics and pictures are now ready but it seems that I dont have the strength to write words.

Lately, there have been changes in my life and I realize some things. Things that have been added and would help me to become mature. But whatever it is, I know that God is with me even though I am in the happiest and saddest time of my life.

Fit N Right

A year ago, I was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis or wound in the stomach. I was really ashamed of it because narrow-minded people would think that I didn't have money to buy my food. Well, personally I don't what now is the cause of it because I didn't skip any meals. One thing I know, i have an ulcer. Hahahah....

This kind of illness would prohibit me from eating or drinking foods that can contribute to weight loss. Every time my aunt would buy Fit N Right, I really wonder what was the taste of it.

To cure my ignorance, I bought Fit N Right two days ago. I was really proud because I drank all of it without stomach ache. But after three hours, I feel very hungry to the point that I would collapse. This phenomenon decided me to go to McDonalds since all the stores near at my boarding house were closed.

I was shocked because there were a lot of people in that fast food chain. Moreover, I saw some of my friends, schoolmates and former roommates. There I realized that Davao is just a small place.
